EVERYONE loves Heygaca (hey-gay-ka) Island. This is is a Tourist's Guide to the Heygest Place on Earth! Enjoy!

The flag of Heygaca consists of a brown mountain on a pink background with a purple border. In front of the mountain is a white H outlined in purple. The above mentioned colors are the national colors.

Heygaca Mt. is our main attraction. The mountain is only a mere seven feet tall, but is a great place for hiking (if you like walking back and forth), bird-watching, and the ocean is nearby. They are so many things to do here!).

HISTORY OF THE ISLAND
One day (not too long ago), the Founding Family was walking over the water with their dog when they found an uninhabited island. The oldest child, Thea, was an imaginative girl, who liked to call her dog many names—including Heyg—decided to call it Heygaca. Her little brother Niko, who was right in thinking it is always a good idea to go along with his sister's plans, agreed. In fact, in flying over the island, they found that the beautiful land formed the word "Heygaca". Cosmo, the family's Shetland Sheepdog, loved the island and invited all of his little Sheltie friends over to stay on the island. The beautiful island had everything the needed, and it soon became their home. The Founding Family cleared a little less than half of the land, building a vacation home for themselves, which they visit often. They also built a capital called HEYG, which is run by the intelligent dogs.
THE ISLAND AND ITS INHABITANTS
As mentioned previously, the country's main inhabitants are Shetland Sheepdogs. They are a very intelligent breed, and so the country is ruled by them. The country has literally gone to the dogs! However the Founding Family helps out a bit (as in a lot), and so Heygaca is a well-run and quite economical country.
There are many things to do on the island, including swimming, hiking, looking at flowers, and going bird-watching, but the main attraction is Heygaca Mountain. It is only seven feet tall! You can also spend the day in the capital, HEYG, but always remember it is spelled with capital letters. The Shelties get very mad if it is not written this way. The punishment for this is, if you are a person, being stuck in a large dog cage all day with only dog food to eat. If you are a dog (which is improbable), you shall be stuck in a cat cage with stale dog food. This is because, being dogs, they are not very good with writing and with "capital" letters is the only way they can write the name of their beloved capital.
ENJOY YOUR STAY!
You are always welcome on Heygaca Island, but there is limited housing. You can always camp out, if you want, but you have to bring your own equipment. If you would like a room, call, toll-free 1-800-HEYGACA at least three weeks prior to your trip. ENJOY!!
